During my four years at Connecticut College, I was employed part-time at the IT Service Desk. Thanks to my consistently high work quality and an expansive knowledge of IT related systems, I became an invaluable senior member to this department.
The help desk provided first-level IT support to the college’s students, staff, and faculty. Issues ranged from software-based OS problems to hardware and network outages.
Through this position my understanding of technology increased, as well as my ability to communicate openly and effectively with clients through their issues. I regularly utilize the abilities I gained through the help desk in my professional and personal life.
